Trade Terms & Conditions

Becoming a partner with Pets Love Fresh

  • When you first apply you will have to complete the online form. This must be completed and submitted for our trade team to review.
  • We accept trade partners based on a number of factors, location, type of store and the demand in your area. We may allow more than one stockist in any one area.
  • As a trade partner you must have an existing customer list prior to ordering.
  • Your account must grow over time to solidify your status as a trade partner.
  • We may publish stockists on our website and therefore require all trade partners to keep updated business details on your account.
  • We withhold the right to change the prices of our products.
  • We review trade accounts on a 6-monthly basis.
  • Non-compliance to our partner terms and conditions may result in a review of your status as a trade partner.

Ordering

  • With orders placed before 1pm we always aim to ship that day for next day delivery. We do not deliver trade orders on Sunday. Orders placed on a Friday before 1pm will be delivered the following Monday any time after will be delivered the following Tuesday. 
  • Our minimum order is 10kg. Delivery charges apply. Orders over 150kg may be packed onto a pallet and delivered with our pallet courier. 
  • In the unlikely event that we are unable to ship your order as expected, we will notify you.
  • You must place your orders via our website for next day delivery.
  • Trade orders can be placed at any time, please note delivery information. 
  • If you are unable to order online please email trade@petslovefresh.com and we will be able to help. Please give as much notice as possible.
  • You must supply your full delivery address at the time of ordering online.
  • Payment must be made at the time of ordering online. We accept all major payment cards. The only exception to this is if we have agreed payment terms, or you have received in writing that we will ship prior to payment on each individual order. 
  • On orders of more than 400kg we may require an additional time to process. 
  • If you would like to place an order of more than 400kg please email trade@petslovefresh.com and we will accept payment via Bank Transfer.
  • Once you have placed and paid for your order on our website, we are not able to add to or amend your order. You can, however, place another order at any time.

Payments

  • Website orders: Payment must be provided via our website at the time of ordering. We accept PayPal and all major payment cards. 
  • On orders of more than 400kg: please email trade@petslovefresh.com and we will accept payment via Bank Transfer.

Back Ordering

  • If we are out of stock of a product at the time you would like to order, please email trade@petslovefresh.com for updates on expected restock dates. 

Selling Platforms

  • All our trade partners can sell Pets Love Fresh on their own website in addition to their physical shop. You must fulfil your own orders. We do not offer drop shipping.
  • Trade partners cannot sell any Pets Love Fresh product on any other sales platforms including, but not limited to Amazon, eBay etc
  • If you wish to sell down any other platform you must submit a plan and gain written approval from Pets Love Fresh before listing Pets Love Fresh products. 

Deliveries

  • We only ship orders within the UK. 
  • Our food is sent frozen fresh from our farm directly to you.
  • Please ensure that you are able to freeze your order when it arrives.
  • DPD collect from the farm Monday through to Friday. Food ordered before 2pm on these days should be delivered the next day (please note sometimes there are delays or issues at our courier's end).
  • We now also have a smaller collection on Sunday mornings which means some orders placed on a Friday evening or Saturday morning should arrive on Mondays.
  • Delivery is free for trade orders over £80. For orders under £80, there is a £7.99 shipping charge. 
  • Should you require a time specific delivery or have special delivery requests please email trade@petslovefresh.com. This may incur extra delivery costs.
  • On orders over 150kg we may use our pallet courier - we will be in touch with delivery options shortly after you have placed your order.
  • In the unlikely circumstance your order is delayed you are expected to accept the delivery and check the contents prior to refusing the delivery. Refused deliveries may not be reimbursed unless all contents are checked. If contents are not suitable we will organise, where possible, for that order to be collected and a new order redelivered.
  • If your order has any product damaged or missing, get in touch with us within 24 hours of delivery. We may not be able to offer credits or replacements should you notify us any later than this.
  • If any products are damaged or defrosted in transit, please email photographs on the same day as delivery for a credit note or replacements to be organised.
  • We do not offer drop-shipping for any trade partner.

    Pets Love Fresh promise:

    • We promise to always provide the best quality products and offer the best quality service to our trade partners.
    • We promise to make every effort to direct customers to our trade partners through various means.
    • We promise to never undercut on our RRPs to direct customers.
    • We promise to offer nutritional advice and help via our email channel trade@petslovefresh.com.
